In 2005, TJK needed cost effective high quality internet TV solution to keep the online betting excitement.

Live events such as horse racing require high network peaks and very good streaming quality.

Solution
Medianova implemented end-to-end WebTV solution from encoding to streaming while cutting operational costs by %40 compared to market offers.
Since the initiation of the project in 2005, it became a common practice for MeidaNova to acquire satellite feed Frankfurt and Istanbul POPs to host this Live event on monthly basis.

Football being the most exciting and important sports event in Turkey, Football Federation Turkey actively trades highly demanded content for both offline and online streaming.

Challenge
Medianova took the challenge to partner with the Federation to broadcast the Super Cup Final.

Solution
Medianova utilized it’s sophisticated encoding and load balanced technologies as well as global content delivery network (CDN) to broadcast the desired content at variable speeds of 1.1 Mbps, 600 Kbps and 300Kbps. Medianova web platform and CDN handled the enormous load of per second transactions.

• Faculty connected to the designated platform with appropriate video and audio equipment,
• Faculty laptop utilized the Encoding software of Medianova,
• Transmitted encoded content to the nearest POP of the CDN
• Protected via the Digital Rights Management to be streamed back to students.
• Utilization of full redundant recording and storage system to ensure non-loss of content.
  

Results
The success of the project were measured with %400 increase in enrollments and %178 increase in attendance to the classes.
